Press Release: Genpower and JCB Tools Donate Generators to Support Ukraine War

Genpower and JCB Tools have joined forces to support humanitarian efforts in Ukraine by donating essential power equipment through The Plant and Hire Aid Alliance. This initiative aims to provide critical support to communities affected by the ongoing crisis, delivering much-needed power solutions where they are needed most.

As part of this initiative, Genpower supported the initiative with over 70 JCB Tools generators supplied to Aid Alliance, ensuring vital power reaches those in need. A shipment has now been successfully delivered to Ukraine.

The effort was driven by Nicola Garnish, Managing Director of Genpower, and Steve Richards, Sales and Marketing Director of Genpower. Genpower, which operates the JCB Tools brand globally, is dedicated to developing new power tools and equipment for the tools industry, ensuring professionals and communities worldwide have access to reliable solutions.

The funding for these generators was raised during an Aid Alliance charity lunch, hosted by JCB at the JCB Champions Lounge at JCB HQ. JCB generously donated the venue for the event, bringing together key industry partners to raise funds for the donation of valuable equipment. The funds raised ensured those affected by the crisis have access to reliable power sources in challenging conditions.

A powerful moment captured back from the region shows a group of Ukrainians gathered around a generator, chanting their thanks for the donation. The group, located in the Lviv region, is based at a local orphanage that supports Internally Displaced Persons (IDP) children, many of whom have been forced from their homes due to the conflict.
