The history of JCB is one of tireless innovation, ambition, and hard work. Beginning as a small enterprise constructing agricultural tipping trailers in 1945, JCB has evolved into a global manufacturing powerhouse that continually pushes the limits in its quest to be the best. Founder Joseph Cyril Bamford's motto, "Jamais content," or "never satisfied," epitomises the company's unwavering pursuit of excellence, and even he would undoubtedly be impressed by its current stature. 

 

With 22 facilities on four continents and over 750 dealers and distributors worldwide, JCB has become a major global brand recognised for its pioneering spirit.

These are thrilling times. In a mere 75 years, JCB has grown from a solitary individual in a Uttoxeter garage into a worldwide family of 11,000 employees that we are proud to call the JCB family. 

 

Although our accomplishments over the past 75 years have been significant, JCB believes in always looking forward to the next level of success and development. Presently, JCB is focused on continuing to innovate and push the boundaries in research and development, especially in sustainability, where energy costs and emissions are becoming an increasingly critical purchasing consideration. As new building standards and emissions regulations emerge, many of our clients will need to overhaul their businesses, and we will be there every step of the way to provide support, as we always have.

In 2022, Genpower was awarded worldwide (excl. India) distributor for JCB Portable Power and Petrol Equipment such as petrol generators, woodchippers, petrol engines, petrol pressure washers, diesel space heaters and more

We have also secured the UK distribution, working alongside a great partner as a sub-licensee, for JCB Tools – power tools including corded, cordless, hand and bench top products offering specialist construction, landscaping, compressors and power tools for top-end DIY and Professional use.

This team oversees a seamless end-to-end quality management process, from working with our approved factories during the manufacturing process to conducting product quality testing and driving continuous improvement efforts.

As part of our quality control measures, our expert team conducts thorough pre-delivery inspections (PDI) on all our products before they are dispatched. We also closely monitor our products throughout their life cycle and continuously strive to enhance our product quality and range.
