The JCB-E460P replacement engine is a 457cc 15hp horizontal straight shaft petrol engine. 25.4mm shaft (1 inch), with keyway compatible for various applications including commercial, heavy-duty home use or industrial pressure washers, wood chippers, water pumps, tillers, grinders, compaction plates, other heavy-duty machinery or even used with karts (subject to small adjustments). The engine’s easy recoil pull-start is aided by reliable CDI ignition for consistent and easy starting.

The impressive design allows market leading 15hp of max power using a design which will retrofit all common and major brands engines as a direct replacement, ranging from 360cc to 470cc models. The engine is a reliable OHV design, offering a balance of compactness, higher torque, and an easily serviceable layout to maintain your engine over future years.

JCB 457cc 15hp Replacement Engine

The JCB-E460P is a heavy-duty and robust 457cc 15hp Euro V petrol engine from JCB, ideal engine replacement for a range of applications; water pumps, tillers, pressure washers, and more.

Our JCB-E460P has a 1” or 25.4mm straight, horizontal shaft with a keyway. This powerful engine retrofits all major leading brands, offering a reliable, higher power replacement engine for your machine. Our chassis mounting points are the same size as almost all 370cc - 460cc engines in the market, even though we offer a higher 457cc 15hp output. For example, you should be able to replace any leading 224cc engines with our 457cc engine directly without the need for any rework.

Low Emissions

4-stroke engines are also more environmentally friendly than 2-stroke engines, emitting lower emissions as they burn pure petrol rather than a mix of oil and petrol, as a lot of the oil within the mix is emitted as unburned vapour. Our JCB petrol replacement engines are all Euro V compliant.

OHV Engine

OHV engines are tried and tested, offering reliability, lower-cost running, a more compact size, and higher torque than other types of engines, making it easy to service and maintain your engine for years to come.
