JCB Tools launches Pro 18V cordless range as Genpower scales global distribution

JCB Tools has launched its new Pro 18V range, a dedicated line of professional cordless power tools designed for trade users and site work. The range is available now online via jcb-tools.co.uk, with distribution opportunities available for international distributors, dealers and merchants.

Two years in the making, JCB Pro 18V has been developed using a tool-by-tool approach. Rather than building the launch around one flagship product, JCB Tools says it benchmarked each tool against leading professional tools across the market, with the aim of creating a line-up that performs strongly across the core jobs tradespeople rely on day to day: drilling, fastening, cutting, grinding, and specialist applications.

The launch marks a clear step in JCB Tools’ drive to grow its professional cordless presence through the channel. Genpower holds the global licence for JCB Tools and is focused on expanding distribution in the UK and internationally, with the aim of seeing the Pro 18V range used on real jobs, in real industries, across the world.

Among the tools launching under Pro 18V is the JCB Pro 18V Combi Drill, delivering 160Nm of torque with a brushless motor, anti-kickback control, and a 13mm ROHM metal chuck, aimed at demanding screwdriving, drilling, and hammer drilling applications.

JCB Tools has also seen strong early demand for specialist maintenance tooling. The JCB Pro 18V Grease Gun has been one of the range’s best sellers so far, delivering up to 10,150psi (700 bar) and up to 300g/min max flow, with cartridge and bulk-fill capability. A Grease Gun Kit version is planned for release in 2026.

All tools in the Pro 18V range run on a shared JCB 18V Li-ion battery platform, helping users standardise on one system across multiple tools and reduce downtime by using interchangeable batteries and chargers across JCB 18V power tools.

To support trade users, JCB Tools is offering a 3-year warranty on tools, alongside a 2-year warranty on batteries and chargers (terms apply). Selected Pro 18V tools also include 12 months complimentary tool protection via Loxa, covering accidental damage (including malicious damage) and theft, with no excess (terms apply).
